Pacers final score: Spurs topple Pacers 103-77

Pat Lovell-USA TODAY Sports

A 15-0 run by the Spurs in the first half created an all-night gap between the Pacers and Spurs as the Pacers still struggle offensively. Paul George had 16.

The San Antonio Spurs used a 15-0 run into the second quarter to jump ahead over the Indiana Pacers 32-15, leaving the Pacers to try and make up those 15 points the rest of the night. The Pacers showed some fight in the third quarter, closing the gap to within seven with plenty of opportunities to trim it further, but the Spurs always found a way sink in the back-breaking response. The Pacers kept the game within striking distance, but a late run by the Spurs blew it open, sealing the Indiana loss.

The Pacers shot under 40% for the sixth straight game and failed to reach 80 points for the fifth time in the last six games. Paul George led three double figure scorers with 16 with six rebounds, five rebounds, and three steals. Lance Stephenson and Roy Hibbert each had 15. Indiana had 16 turnovers which led to 23 Spurs points along with 15 San Antonio offensive rebounds. Tony Parker led all scorers with 22.
