The Indiana Pacers and Miami Heat are locked in a tight one after the Heat closed the half on a 15-4 run. The Pacers have played exceptionally well throughout the first half, but five missed shots to close the half hurt them down the stretch as the Heat fought back from a 10-point deficit. Roy Hibbert was excellent in the first half with 17 first half points on 7-11 shooting. LeBron James leads all scorers with 20 on 5-8 shooting.
James has gotten to the line 10 times already, with free throw shooting proving the difference in the game so far with the Heat outshooting Indiana from the line 18-7. Despite playing hard inside, the Pacers aren't getting the same whistles Miami is and it's putting the Heat the line to help them take the lead. Miami is shooting 48%, however, with the Pacers dipping to 37%. The Pacers have five first half three pointers, and have done well forcing turnovers, forcing nine and outscoring Miami 13-8 in points off turnovers.
