Offensive offense

Let's reflect on last nights Bull's game in Chicago. Another L that could have been a W. If we were to flip flop personnel, and George were to play Dunleavy's role, Hill Hinrich's, Lance GJA'a or Butler's, West Boozer's or Gibson's, and of course Roy Noah's, can we ask the question, is our talent not equal, and our bench better?

I didn't watch Chicago's offense that closely. but they had their fair share of open shots, and shot poorly enough to lose, but on a great shooting night, they would have won by 20. They had many more good looks that Indy..What the he__ are the Pacers doing on offense? Why can't the Pacer's duplicate the sets and plays the Bull's run? last night's performance made me think trading Danny was not a good idea. I liked Danny a lot, and was hoping he would get another shot at Miami with the Pacer's, but I was not enamored with his game before the trade, it may be we weren't taking advantage of his talents, same with Turner. PG needs help with his offensive game. I know he mentally has put himself in a class with Melo, but he needs a mentor, maybe not LBJ, but LJB. Get PG off the point and into the 3 slot, moving without the ball. They double team one, rotate the ball to the open man, no one open, pass back around, the offense players rotating to their spots, someone will be open. Defense can't move as fast as the ball. Instead we pound the ball into the crowd, one man trying to beat 2 or 3.

If you watch the Pacers body language, they show their frustration on the defensive end when the opponent scores. You can't stop them every time, but there should be no layups, at least no unchallenged layups. We have enough fouls to give on the bench to go after them. On offense, way too many complaints about uncalled fouls. There are plenty of them, and plenty of mistakes, but it ain't nothing unless the whistle blows, so play through it.

IMHO, we need a presence in the middle, or a mental health professional in Roy's room. I saw a play last night that Roy did the right thing, he is 7'2, used the basket for protection, and got knocked down and did not get the ball to the rim, he got two free throws, but that ball should have been thrown down. I have high hopes for Bynam's knee. We are going to need him not only for the Heat, but for the first round unless Roy comes around. And we need CJ too. Not for first choice as a back up pg, I thought maybe Lance would grow into the spot, and for a while this year I thought he was, but his game has gone downhill the more he tries to dominate.
