I might get slammed for this one but hear me out. With the promising signs being shown by Bynum in his first couple of games with the Pacers, does anyone think it might be wise to try to re-sign him? There's no way he's going to re-sign to play as Roy's backup so I'm just wondering if it would be worth trading Roy while his value is high. Everyone knows what a great defensive player Roy is but we have a 7'2 center averaging 11pts and 7 rebounds per game. Our 6'5 shooting guard is grabbing more rebounds than our All Star center! I personally think Roy's trade value at the moment is as high as it's going to get. Why not see if we can trade him for another (more affordable) young star and use the difference to try to re-sign Bynum. Obviously there is a high risk in re-signing Bynum with injuries and attitude a concern but I really think it could also bring massive rewards.
