Snow in Indiana forced the Pacers to remain in Atlanta for another night which they surely didn't mind after beating the Hawks on Tuesday night.
Yet another snow storm in the Indy area forced the Pacers to alter their travel plans, but this time I'm sure they didn't mind so much. With two off days before playing Portland on Friday, the Pacers were able to spend another night in Atlanta and enjoy the spoils of actually winning at Philips Arena.
The team is en route back to Indy now with around seven inches of snow waiting for them. At least they don't have to deal with it in the middle of the night. As for the game, it proved once again how nice it is to have David West to lean on in the big games. His 22 points and 10 rebounds were big, but his ability to get a bucket when the Pacers needed it most was equally important.
The Pacers now have two days to prepare to avenge their loss to Portland when the Blazers visit the Fieldhouse on Friday.
