The Indiana Pacers may have gotten a little too complacent to close the first half. Indiana appeared to be in cruise control, steadily building up a 16-point lead at 57-41 before the Orlando Magic closed the final three minutes on a 9-2 to run to trim Indiana's lead to single digits. The Magic shot 50% in the first half, including 6-9 from three point range. Arron Afflalo had four of them as part of his game high 18 first half points on 7-11 shooting. Victor Oladipo has four on just 2-8 shooting and E'Twaun Moore has five.
The Pacers featured a balanced attack with six players reaching eight points, led by Paul George with 10 points, coming up with two steals. Lance Stephenson has eight points, five assists, and five rebounds while the bench scored 23 first half points, including eight apiece from Luis Scola and Danny Granger. David West and Roy Hibbert also have eight.
