Slick vs Vogel - A Heavyweight Bout

First, I will start and say I am sorry to Tom if I should have just added to the Mt Rushmore convo. I really hate the whole Mt. Rushmore thing though, and it just came into being when a doucher (LeFlop) used it as an ill fitting euphemism(is that right? lol) for the GOAT conversation. OF course the 4 letter network slobbered ALL over it.

Personally, I think each position carries it's own weight and a Mt. Rushmore type format always seems to forget some bad a$$es like Russel, Shaq, and Alcindor. So I was just perusing the Pacers Mt Rushmore story and would like to propose something similar, but a little different. I want you to make a Red and a Blue Team of Alltime Pacers, and who would win if you'd like.

Mine would look something like this, though I'll do like Lebron did and ASSuME some things as well, like Lance staying around and a championship or 3. BTW I was born in '85 so probably a little biased to modern era players, but in mine and others defense in this day in age the players across the board are in the most part bigger, faster, stronger and more skilled.

Red Team---------------------------------------Blue Team

Head Coach - Bobby "Slick" Leonard------ Head Coach - Frank "The Tank" Vogel

C - Roy Hibbert -------------------------------- C - Mel Daniels

PF - George McGinnis ------------------------ PF - Jermaine O'Neal

SF - Paul George ------------------------------ SF - Danny Granger

SG - Reggie Miller ---------------------------- SG - Roger Brown

PG - Billy Keller ----------------------------- PG - Lance Stephenson

Man, that was a lot funner than I thought it was gonna be. I also think if there was a way to watch this 5 on 5 in their primes, wow that would be intriguing and I would enjoy it more than even an alltimes great shootout. JO and Hibbert banging down low 25 PPG Danny vs King George, man that would be awesome. I really don't know who would win this game. What do you all think , Vote now Slick's team or Tank's?
