The Indiana Pacers host the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night for the final time in the regular season. With a win the Pacers can sweep the four-game season series against the Nets.

Prior to the season, a sweep of the season series would've sounded impressive, but the Nets have struggled so much with injuries that all of their new faces have struggled to find their stride. All of that being said, along with a sub-.500 record, the Nets remain a playoff team in the East the the Pacers may have to deal with in the post-season.

The loss of Brook Lopez to season-ending foot surgery seemed to put an end to any hopes the Nets might still contend after a brutal start to the season, but the remaining hodge podge of talent makes the Nets a threat on any given night. That wasn't last night, as the Nets were overwhelmed by the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Pacers could use a similar game and everything sets up well for the Blue and Gold with Andrei Kirielenko already ruled out and Andray Blatche questionable with a hip injury.

The Pacers have had an interesting past couple of days as they added some fuel to the fire with Lance Stephenson's All-Star snub, then digested the Andrew Bynum signing this morning which was a memo from the front office that expectations aren't being met. Energy, effort and attention to detail should be abundant at the Fieldhouse tonight.

Plus, the added incentive of Joe Johnson, the most logical player selected over Lance Stephenson for the All-Star game, playing for the Nets, should keep Lance and Paul George dialed in from the tip.
