The Phoenix Suns followed a familiar script to once again run all over the Indiana Pacers to score 66 points in the first half and lead by 17. The Pacers appeared to finally get sick of Phoenix's offense, storming back in the third quarter, outscoring the Suns 25-11 and drawing the game to within a single point. But they weren't able to ever take the lead, and it resulted in the Suns having just enough down the stretch to hold onto their lead and wrap up the season series sweep against the Pacers.
Given everything that went against the Pacers, it's a minor miracle they were even able to make a game of it in the second half. Goran Dragic ran overall over the Pacers in the first half for 21 of his game high 28 points, but was held in check well thanks to Paul George in the second half. George struggled shooting, scoring just 12 on 5-17 shooting, missing all five of his three point attempts. Roy Hibbert led the Pacers with 26 points and Lance Stephenson had a 14 point, 10 rebound, and 10 assist triple-double in the loss. The Pacers shot just 1-15 from three point range and were outscored 21-0 in fast break points.
