Halftime score: Pacers and Lakers tied 49-49

The Indiana Pacers are tied with the Los Angeles Lakers halfway through their final game out West after a back-and-forth second quarter has given the Lakers life. The Pacers struggled shooting throughout the first half, scoring 32 of their 49 points in the paint, barely inching above 40% on the night, but after allowing just 19 first quarter points, the Lakers were able to open up offensively to score 30, shooting 48.9% on the night.

The second quarter featured seven lead changes and five ties, which is something the Pacers will need to take control of if they hope to come away with a victory. A tie is a far better result than a double digit deficit Indiana has faced in the last three games, but there is still work left to do. David West leads the Pacers with nine points with George Hill and Roy Hibbert each scoring seven. Hibbert has two of Indiana's nine offensive rebounds and Lance Stephenson leads the team with eight rebounds. Pau Gasol leads the Lakers with 10.
