Pacers preseason includes Bulls, possible Derrick Rose return at Bankers Life Fieldhouse

Jonathan Daniel

The Pacers preseason schedule is taking shape as other teams release their schedules.

The Indiana Pacers could have a monster preseason matchup in early October when the Chicago Bulls visit on October 5th.

Wait. What? Preseason hype on Aug. 2nd?

Hey, I have already received an inquiry from a Chicago contact about getting an early jump on tickets for the preseason game scheduled at the Fieldhouse since it could be the first live action for Derrick Rose.

Oh, boy. United Center South will be in full effect if Bulls fans have a chance to catch a glimpse at their hopes for the 2013-14 season actually take the floor and play. Maybe Danny Granger will even join the fray. Honestly, this does remind us that the Bulls expect to be "back" this year and no one knows this better than their fans.

But things have changed for our friends up I-65. Rose or no Rose, the Bulls are now chasing the Pacers. Should be fun!

- Saturday, Oct. 5 vs. Chicago (BLF)

- Thursday, Oct. 10 vs. Rockets (Manila, Philipines)

- Sunday, Oct. 13 vs. Rockets (Taipei, Taiwan)

- Friday, Oct. 18 vs. Bulls (United Center)

- Saturday, Oct. 19 vs.Cavaliers (Quicken Loans Arena)

- Tuesday, Oct. 22 vs. Hawks (Philips Arena)

The full Pacers schedule along with the rest of the NBA schedule will be officially announced next Tuesday.
