Pacers 23rd Pick Tournament Round One: Jamaal Franklin vs. Glen Rice Jr.

Will Jamaal Franklin be receiving your vote to move on to the second round? - USA TODAY Sports

Back on the backcourt side of the bracket, we also have the best matchup on their side so far this tournament. We have two explosive guards who could be major assets for Indiana right away off the bench next season. Who will get your vote and advance on to the second round?

In this matchup, we have two scoring guards who could make an instant impact for the Pacers next season. Between Jamaal Franklin of San Diego State and Glen Rice Jr. of the Rio Grande Valley Vipers (Georgia Tech), this could be considered the best matchup for Indy Cornrows readers so far. Both of these players would be great fits on this roster alongside another explosive wing in Paul George. Could one of these players be in the starting lineup, while George officially takes over Danny Granger's starting spot next season?

Below are the video breakdowns from SB Nation partner, Draft Express. Both of the following videos are around 15 minutes long, so sit back and watch possibly a future member of the Indiana Pacers come draft night.

Franklin or Rice Jr. would be lightning rods off the bench for Indiana next season. Both are explosive athletes who have the ceiling to be top-flight starters at shooting guard in the NBA. If the Pacers want a future starter alongside George, they can not go wrong with selecting either Franklin or Rice Jr. I believe both will be great players on the next level, and going to a team that develops their players well in Indiana makes that transition even smoother for one of them.

After the video analysis of both prospects from Draft Express, who should advance on to the second round? Will it be Jamaal Franklin or Glen Rice Jr. getting your vote to move on in the Indy Cornrows 23rd Pick Tournament?
