Pacers Final Score: Heat roll Pacers in Game 7 99-76

Mike Ehrmann

The Pacers couldn't keep from shooting themselves in the foot in a Game 7 blowout.

The Indiana Pacers overcame a lot of their own struggles early to hold a two-point first quarter advantage, but they did themselves no favors by getting flat out beaten by the Miami Heat in the deciding game of the Eastern Conference Finals. The Heat outhustled the Pacers, playing focused defense, and flustering the Pacers to the tune of 14 turnovers in the first half, resulting in 15 less field goal attempts. The Pacers wrapped up with __ turnovers, but it didn't matter as they were beat badly on the glass, allowing __ offensive rebounds, while struggling to get any themselves.

In the end, the Heat played their best game of the postseason and Indiana played one of their worst. The combo resulted in a blowout loss that put Paul George and Roy Hibbert in foul trouble and no one really capable of controlling the tempo for the Pacers. Hibbert led Indiana with 18, but Miami got 32 from LeBron James and 21 from a Dwyane Wade who decided to try tonight.
