I saw another thread and thought it was a good idea about who we would pick if they were available. It got me thinking though. If the pacers drafted PlayerX I would be fit to be tied. My blue and gold runs deep but I would be seeing red if PlayerX were drafted.
No reason is a bad reason to dislike PlayerX. If you don't like so and so because they are a bum, have drug problems, can't play defense, offer redundant skills, have no upside, might actually be 30, played for the wrong college, etc. etc. etc.
Please post the player(s) you loath below and why you think they are unworthy of the 23rd selection. Then argue with each other because that is what the internet is for.
Reggie Bullock (SF) UNC - 6'7 200lb with a 6'10 wingspan. - he seems like a fine player but we drafted him last year except Orlando Johnson is a 6'4" shooting guard at 224lbs with a 6'11" wingspan. Both play some defense and hit jumpers but we already have a year into the 24 year old Orlando Johnson and at 22 Reggie Bullock is no spring chicken. I understand the desire to replace Sam Young and replacing him might not even be a bad call but we can and must do better than drafting Orlando Johnson again. Before you tell me that they are completely different please actually look at their stats. We didn't play the Orlando Johnson we had against the heat so why would we play a new Orlando Johnson against them next year?
