The Indiana Pacers look to even up the Eastern Conference finals when they host the Miami Heat in Game 4 on Tuesday night. The Pacers have their backs against the wall after dropping Game 3 and have to find a way to regain the footing then enjoyed against the Heat in the first two games.
Miami scored 70 points in the first half of Game 3 but also made things tough for the Pacers on offense throughout the game. Yes, the Pacers made shots in the first half and hung around but they were hardly dictating the action.
The Pacers did slow down the Heat in the second half but never looked comfortable on offense. Even when the Pacers made their third quarter run, they were left pushing themselves into uncomfortable shots that ended with missed opportunities around the rim. Big fellas gotta get it going which can help open up the rest of the offense to get quality looks.
To put it more bluntly, the Pacers starting five has to step up to a man and make it happen at both ends of the floor.
