Not even close. The Pacers still rely on hard-nosed defense around the rim but the offensive heroics no longer come from distance but from a collection of options: old-school David West, fresh All-Star Paul George, Lance Stephenson on the run, George Hill with the floater and Big Roy with the hook in the lane. All of those options seem to work better at the Fieldhouse and they will have to be on point to take a series lead against the Knicks.
The Knicks are nowhere near the bruising squad they brought to town in the '90s but with Carmelo Anthony leading a lethal offensive attack, their primary concern is getting buckets. The Knicks defense was good enough to force the Pacers into 21 turnovers in Game 2.
I don't care how crazy BLF is, if the Pacers turnover total approaches 20 again, they will be in trouble and need the Knicks to lose their shooting touch. Fortunately, the home court seems to bring the best out of the Pacers and they are at their best the Ws usually follow.
