Pacers Final Score: Pacers top Rockets 100-91

USA TODAY Sports

Indiana had a spirited showing in their win over Houston on the road.

The Indiana Pacers led the entire way in their win tonight, using a tremendous first quarter effort to jump out by as many as 19. But the Houston Rockets in the second quarter, led by Greg Smith and Thomas Robinson, allowed them to climb back in the game. The resiliency of the Pacers tonight proved to be the advantage as every push the Rockets made to draw the game close was responded by the Pacers pushing the lead back towards double digits, with Roy Hibbert playing game changing basketball once again as part of his 28 point, 13 rebound effort.

Hibbert got plenty of help from Lance Stephenson, who had 21, and Tyler Hansbrough with 16 and 8. Paul George struggled mightily from the floor shooting, but totaled 16, doing his part limiting James Harden to a 6-24 shooting night, who still managed to put in 22 in the loss, holding the Rockets as a team to 38.6% shooting.
