After a bit of a sluggish shooting start, the Indiana Pacers turned it on big time to not only build a lead against the Cleveland Cavaliers, but thrive with it. Indiana is short David West tonight due to his back, but the bench, with a full five-man unit, helped the Pacers in a big way, scoring 25 points in the first half. The Pacers were led by Gerald Green of all players, who shot 5-9 for 13 points. Paul George was 4-6 in his 13 minutes of action, scoring 10 points.
The Pacers have paved the way with offense, running away from the Cavs in each quarter to build the 15-point advantage, but they've looked their sharpest in some time tonight. Tyler Hansbrough has nine and seven in the starting unit, with Orlando Johnson scoring eight. C.J. Miles leads all scorers with 16 for the Cavs.
