Pacers trail Heat 56-46 at halftime

Stay connected for news and updates

The Indiana Pacers have fought hard to stay in the game, but after pulling within two points against the Miami Heat, the Heat went on a 10-2 run, including four points in the final seconds, to give them a sizable 10-point lead. That Indiana is in the game could be a minor miracle; they've allowed Miami to shoot 52.6%, getting a bulk of their production from Mario Chalmers and Ray Allen, each in double figures, while the Pacers had 10 turnovers.

David West had carried the Pacers with 17 points, including seven from the free throw line, getting eight points from Roy Hibbert and Paul George. The Pacers will have to recapture momentum after a fairly positive second quarter and the terrible end to the half.
