Pacers up 60-54 on Bulls at halftime

Stay connected for news and updates

In a surprisingly offensive oriented half from two teams with defensive reputations, the Indiana Pacers used a 12-4 run to close the second quarter on the Chicago Bulls to lead by six. The Pacers shot 67% in the first half as part of their 60, but only lead by six thanks to the close because they've hampered themselves with nine turnovers, allowing the Bulls to take nine extra field goal attempts, Chicago shooting 49%.

David West followed up his big game against Miami with 16 first half points, getting help from George Hill with 13. Lance Stephenson has six, but was an instrumental part in the late second quarter run. Tyler Hansbrough scored eight to lead the bench. Taj Gibson leads the Bulls with 10 points and six boards.
