The Chicago Bulls are once again in town and hopefully they can stay in Indy long enough to actually play a game. On Dec. 26, the Bulls were at the Fieldhouse ready to play the Indiana Pacers when the NBA stepped in an canceled the game in the late afternoon due to treacherous road conditions.
Then our friends from the NBA offices shoe-horned the make-up game into the schedule tonight which will force the Pacers to play the only back-to-back-to-back game in the league this week. With two days off, the make-up game tonight actually favors the Pacers since the Bulls are dealing with injuries and played back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday. That game at Philly on Wednesday won't be so fun, though.
Regardless, the Pacers have a chance to pull even with the Bulls in the Central Division. Carlos Boozer, Joakim Noah and Kirk Hinrich have missed both games this past weekend. Hinrich isn't expected to play while Boozer and Noah are questionable with Boozer is more likely to play than Noah. Either way the Pacers will have to be ready to play because the Bulls always come read no matter which players aren't available.
