Pacers edge Warriors 54-53 at halftime

Stay connected for news and updates

The Indiana Pacers maintain a narrow edge over the Golden State Warriors, allowing a 12-2 run to close the half just minutes after taking a double digit lead on a 20-3 run themselves. It's a game that has been defined by runs, almost entirely defined by the success of David West and George Hill, who have 33 of Indiana's points. The Pacers are shooting 49%, getting their shooting from West and Hill, with Paul George, but are allowing Golden State 49% shooting as well. Indiana has forced 11 turnovers, scoring 19.

Stephen Curry has been lights out for the Warriors, scoring 23 points on 9-11 shooting, including 4-4 from three point range, but has been matched by George Hill, who has 17 on 7-8 shooting with three three pointers. David West had 12 of his 16 in the second quarter. Danny Granger leads a struggling bench with three from the line.
