The Pacers catch a break as they face the Nets' on Monday night without their point guard.

The Brooklyn Nets are in town to play the Indiana Pacers on Monday night but they will do so without their starting point guard Deron Williams.

On Monday, the Nets announced that Williams will miss the team's next two games with an ankle injury which will give the point guard an extended rest through the All-Star break. In 50 games for Nets this season, Williams has averaged 16.7 points, 7.6 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game. When the Nets beat the Pacers 97-86 in mid-January, Williams has 22 points and nine assists to lead the Nets to the W..

This news won't ruin George Hill's day as the Pacers catch another injury and/or trade break from a visiting opponent which always seems to help even out Danny Granger's absence. Lotta strange and great things happening at BLF this season. Don't question, just enjoy.

With Williams on the shelf tonight, I'd expect P.J. Carlesimo to start C.J. Watson at point guard.
