FOX Sports Indiana puts out a fantastic product with their game broadcasts for the Indiana Pacers. Chris Denari and Quinn Buckner are among the best television duos across the NBA. Brooke Olzendam adds a fun, fresh and friendly-on-the-eyes flair to the broadcast before, during and after each game.
But the wins. All of those wins. 17 of 'em and counting. Those wins continue luring fans to game broadcasts and FOX Sports Indiana is stepping up to celebrate the strong start by the Pacers and give a little something back to the fans.
On Wednesday, FSI reported a 113 percent ratings increase over a year ago with the best ratings in November since 2005. Yep, the Pacers are back and the fans are following close behind. The most stunning not in FSI's report is that the Nov. 27 game at Charlotte was the highest-rated (6.45) regular season game on FOX Sports Indiana since April 20, 2005 (6.52, season finale, vs. Chicago).
Wait, wha? AT CHARLOTTE WAS THE HIGHEST-RATED GAME SINCE 20005!
That is ridiculous. And no, Cody Zeller's 19 minutes off the pine don't account for that jump in ratings. Besides, regardless of how eyeballs are finding Pacers games, they are sticking around for the ride.
FSI is so happy with these numbers they are working with the Pacers to give fans a break on tickets for home games (which they broadcast, btw). FSI will pick up your online ticket fees via Pacers.com/ZeroFees for all remaining 2013-14 home games in Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
You win. FSI wins. And the Pacers keep winning.
