This three game stretch by the 23-year-old wings heading into the Christmas break has left plenty of good tidings for the Pacers, along with a 23-5 record. In the wins over Houston, Boston and Brooklyn, George and Stephenson combined to average 42.7 points, 14.3 rebounds and 10.7 assists. And the flair they with which they put together those numbers has been something to watch.
But this is hardly a two-man show. The improved offensive ball movement and vicious defense which gets the Pacers running on O, has forced their past three opponents to fade away. Now the Pacers have to enjoy their rest with a couple of days off and no game until returning to the Fieldhouse to play the Nets on Saturday night.
