The Indiana Pacers got a top tier effort from the Charlotte Bobcats, needing some key stretches to close out their 11th straight home victory. The Bobcats entered the game with more of a defensive identity, but made plays on the offensive side by shooting 47% on the night. Charlotte led the game 90-89 with 5:16 left in the game, but Lance Stephenson responded with an and one that allowed Indiana to finish the game on a 10-4 run.
Stephenson led the Pacers with a 20 point, 11 rebound double double, getting plenty of help from Roy Hibbert, who had 18 points and 11 rebounds. Six Pacers reached double figures with George Hill scoring 13 points with three three pointers and David West making plays late as part of his 14. Luis Scola scored 11 to lead the bench and Rasual Butler was a part of the first half rotation, scoring eight. Charlotte had four double figure scorers, led by Al Jefferson with 21. Ramon Sessions and Kemba Walker each had 13. The Pacers move to 20-3 on the season and 11-0 at home.
