The Indiana Pacers have started piecing together solid first halves to erase their halftime deficit woes, but despite a first quarter where the Pacers led by as many as 11, they stumbled with the second unit, letting the Los Angeles Clippers back into it before Paul George pushed Indiana over the top to give them a 53-47 halftime edge. The Pacers are shooting 47.8% with six three pointers, three of which coming from George, who has 18 on 7-11 shooting, rising to the occasion against a big hometown opponent.
David West has 10, including a buzzer beating put back to make it a six point lead. Chris Paul was a game time design for the Clippers, but led them with 10 points and seven assists. The Clippers have been held to 43%, but have put a lot of the points on the board thanks to their bench, where Reggie Bullock has eight.
