Pacers Links: Pacers return to work against Bucks

Pat Lovell-USA TODAY Sports

Seems like forever since the undefeated Pacers last played, but after three full days off at home the Milwaukee Bucks visit the Fieldhouse on Friday night.

After blitzing out to an 8-0 start, the Pacers were able to catch their breath and work on a few things in-house with three non-travel days off.

On Friday night, the Pacers are back in action as the Milwaukee Bucks limp into the Fieldhouse unsure of just how many healthy bodies they will be able to throw at the Pacers. This should be a bonus for the home team, but they still have to take advantage of the situation.

The Pacers did take advantage of the off-time by lending a hand to the greater community after getting their on-court work in. David West hosted the "Come to Our House" event late Thursday afternoon for the men, women and children from local shelters. Plenty of great coverage of the event at Pacers.com.

Among the great videos and pics from the event, this one of the boss serving up ham remains the best.

Also, in further positive news surrounding the Pacers, George Hill received the KIA Community Assist Award from the NBA for his work with Kids Against Hunger and leading an effort to package meals for kids in need both locally and in Haiti.

So, after building up more goodwill in the community, it is back to basketball with a shot at 9-0.
