The Indiana Pacers have led most of the way against the Memphis Grizzlies, a surprising first half showcase for a team that's been fighting from behind due to poor second quarters. But the Pacers have been doing a good job holding Memphis at bay through the first half, setting up a favorable situation should they continue to push forward in the second half. Lance Stephenson has been a big standout for a balanced Pacers attack, finding himself on triple double watch with eight points, nine rebounds, and eight assists in the first half.
He did pick up his third foul with 0.8 seconds in the half and was hit with a technical for taunting Tony Allen, so he'll have to stay cool to make an impact in the second half. Luis Scola leads the Pacers with 10 points off the bench thanks to a big second quarter. George Hill and David West are a combined 8-11 with eight points each. Roy Hibbert has just two points, but has grabbed seven rebounds and sent away four blocks. The Pacers have doubled up on the Grizzlies in rebounds, pulling down 30 boards to Memphis's 15, but are losing the turnover battle handily, 8-2. Indiana has held Memphis to 34% shooting, Marc Gasol leading the way with nine, but shooting just 2-8 from the field.
