Pacers leading Pistons 54-36 at halftime

Despite a quick start for the Indiana Pacers, the Detroit Pistons clawed their way back into the game, in position to tie or take the lead with the ball down 36-34, but the Pacers held on defense and subsequently blitzed the Pistons on an 18-2 tear to close the half. The big swing in the game came in the second quarter, after continuing to struggle defensively inside, allowing 23 first quarter points, the Pacers stepped up defensively to limit Detroit to just 13 in the second.

Lance Stephenson led the charge with a great close to the half, scoring a game high 12 points to go with eight rebounds and three assists with zero turnovers. The Pacers as a whole had just five turnovers in the first half. Roy Hibbert had 12 on 4-6 shooting and each starter has a pair of assists to go with Lance's three.
