Stay connected for news and updates

The Indiana Pacers had a solid effort in the first half that allowed them to open up an eight-point lead early in the second quarter, but the Denver Nuggets found their way back into the game to take the lead late. Denver went on a 14-4 run to give them a five-point lead as the Pacers failed to register a field goal for over four minutes. Indiana got a strong close to the half from Lance Stephenson, who salvaged a struggling offense, scoring Indiana's final seven of the half.

Stephenson leads the Pacers with 11 points, with Paul George scoring 10. David West has nine and Orlando Johnson provided valuable minutes off the bench with a career high eight points. Indiana turned the ball over 10 times, but minimized the damage by only allowing six Nuggets points. Indiana has struggled in transition, getting outscored 13-2 in fast break points, also allowing 30 points in the paint, and getting out shot 14-4 from the free throw line.
