Pacers lead Jazz at halftime 48-45

Stay connected for news and updates

The Indiana Pacers fell behind by six points late in the second quarter, watching the game slowly slip away behind 13 first half turnovers, leading to 14 Utah Jazz points. But David West would lead the comeback for the blue and gold to finish the half on a 9-0 Indiana run to give the Pacers the halftime lead. The Pacers shot 62.5% in the first half, but those countless turnovers, coming from 11 Jazz steals, have limited their opportunities, allowing Utah to stay alive in the game.

West leads Indiana with 14, getting eight points from Paul George and Roy Hibbert as part of the team's 48 points. Paul Millsap and Al Jefferson lead Utah with 10 apiece with Gordon Hayward pitching in eight off the bench. The Pacers bench has given some quality minutes, including six points from Ian Mahinmi and five from D.J. Augustin.
