Pacers fall behind Blazers at half 44-32

Stay connected for news and updates

Despite trailing after the first quarter to the Portland Trail Blazers, the Indiana Pacers appeared to be in decent position, but a collapse of a second quarter, fueled by missed shots galore and turnovers, the Blazers defense opened up opportunities for them offensively to move their shooting to almost 60% behind 16 from LaMarcus Aldridge. The Blazers used a 22-4 run in the second quarter to open up a 12-point lead as the Pacers offense fell apart, plummeting to 34%.

The Pacers have forced 10 Portland turnovers, but have eight themselves, which have led to 15 Blazers points. Roy Hibbert leads Indiana with seven and four rebounds. Paul George had six, but picked up three first half fouls and David West struggled on his way to six. D.J. Augustin had a pair of three pointers off the bench.
