The Indiana Pacers grabbed their 11th straight win at Bankers Life Fieldhouse with a 105-95 win over the Houston Rockets, showing some big stretches of defense in the second half to help define the victory. The Pacers led most of the game, but every time they managed to balloon the lead to double digits, the high power Rockets offense would find their way back into the game. Credit the Pacers for shutting the Rockets off whenever they managed to get close with some big offensive buckets, and Indiana was able to move to 25-16 at the halfway point of the season.
Paul George had 23 first half points as part of his game high 31, shooting 11-19 with seven three pointers, coming up with a complete box score including six rebounds and five steals, solidifying his All-Star campaign. David West had a 20 & 11 double double with seven assists as four Pacers starters reached double figures, including 12 and nine from Roy Hibbert and 15 from George Hill.
