The Indiana Pacers have found themselves in an offensive shootout against the Houston Rockets, shooting 49% and 9-13 from three point range, to hold a seven point lead at the half. The Pacers have led nearly the entire way, by as many as 16, and by double digits late in the half, but the Rockets are an impressive team at scoring the ball, and have forced Indiana to hit their shots to stay ahead by scoring in bunches.
Paul George had 18 first quarter points as part of a 23-point first half to lead the Pacers, hitting five three pointers on 8-11 shooting, holding James Harden to 11 on 4-13. David West has scored nine, George Hill has eight points and three steals, and Ian Mahinmi and Roy Hibbert have played well at the center position. The Pacers have struggled on the glass, allowing eight offensive boards, six to Omer Asik who has 11.
