Stay connected for news and updates

The Indiana Pacers jumped out to a 13-3 lead, compiling some impressive numbers in their first half effort against the Charlotte Bobcats, but a late surge by Charlotte has trimmed a 17-point Pacers lead down to 10. The Pacers are outrebounding Charlotte 32-13, winning the fast break battle 19-5, controlling the paint 28-12, and assisting on 13 of their 18 field goals. The Pacers scored 50 despite a six-minute field goal drought in the second quarter, but have gotten a bulk of their contributions from the starters.

David West leads the Pacers with 11 points and seven rebounds. George Hill has nine, Roy Hibbert with eight and three blocks, and Paul George with six and five. Lance Stephenson has five points, five rebounds, and five assists to go with a pair of steals. Ramon Sessions led the Bobcats late in the second quarter as part of his 10 point first half.
