Steve Mitchell-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire
The Indiana Pacers came together for a couple of events off the court before the start of training camp on Tuesday.
The Indiana Pacers were a tight team last year and after a few changes to the roster the effort to maintain that strong team chemistry is already underway. Although with this crew, it appears they do things off the court together out of pure enjoyment rather than a prescribed activity from the team.
On Thursday the players did take part in a prescribed team event, the annual golf outing for the Pacers Foundation at the Brickyard Crossing. The players also enjoyed a little fishing together on the golf course ponds.
Then on Friday, they met up at White River Paintball in Anderson for some fun before heading to Bub's in Carmel to down a few Big Ugly burgers.
Check out this video from the paintball outing as rookie Orlando Johnson takes some hazing on the battlefield with no mercy from the vets. Also, Ben Hansbrough tweeted about his paintball prowess with the team.
Paintball yesterday.. Me and @george_hill3 were putting on an assassin show!!lockerz.com/s/248744378

A team that can golf, fish and paintball together can stay together.
