The Indiana Pacers summer league roster will include four players expected to be on the regular season roster along with three players with local ties.
Current Pacers Lance Stephenson and Jeff Pendergraph will join rookies Miles Plumlee and Orlando Johnson for next week's summer league games in Orlando. Also, Ben Hansbrough (Notre Dame, Tyler bro), Chris Kramer (Huntington North/Purdue) and Robert Vaden (Cathedral/Pike/Bridgton Academy/Indiana/UAB) will help fill out the roster released today by the Pacers.
Among the non-roster invitees, I'd give rookie point guard Reggie Hamilton out of Oakland University the best chance to stick. If he can earn it, a roster spot for emergency point guard will likely be open if A.J. Prices signs elsewhere.
The Summer Pacers will sneak in six practices starting on Thursday before going to Orlando on Sunday before opening up play on Monday, July 9th against Detroit at 5:00 p.m. ET. Here is the full schedule of games slated for Orlando next week.
