I know it's only day 1 after signings are legal and set to go, but sheesh! aren't we gonna do anything in free agency? I mean, so many eastern teams have improved, and all we've done is add two mediocre players thru the draft. Hopefully, Plumlee will fill the need of a rebounder, and O>J> will be able to come off the bench and add a few points here and there. But man, he can't hit the broad side of a barn when it comes to free throws. He has a pathetic looking shot from the line. And Lance looked good in yesterday's summer league game, but it's scary to think we are putting our bench scoring in his hands. Why aren't the Pacers making any deals? I can't believe Mr. Simon has clamped down on spending like everyone seems to think he has. Kamen is going to Dallas, it seems, and he could've given us some help in the middle off the bench, while the Rookie learns. Also, what about Lee, or Mayo? Any word on talks with them? I'm just hoping that things are still on-going between the Pacers and some of the free agents, but I admit, I'm getting nervous. If we make no more moves, and stick with what we have, and with everyone else's improvement, we'll be a 6-8 seed this coming season.
