I want to post something I saw on ESPN because 1) I like sharing information and 2) I think after missing out on FA (at this point, besides signing our two guys which is great for us) the only way we will get better now is through trades. I really hope Pritchard has been active talking to other teams about potential trades, so I thought I would share this one with fans. Since Landry Fields is off to the Raptors, seems like the NY Knicks interest in Dahntay Jones has increased.

"The New York Knicks are going to let Landry Fields move on to the Toronto Raptors and not match the offer sheet. The team could use some wing players and according to Newsday, a source says one target is Dahntay Jones.

Jones is entering his final year under contract with the Indiana Pacers and he's set to make $2.9 million in 2012-13.

The Knicks are short on assets with all the trades they've done the last year and all they can really offer the Pacers is cap relief. The Knicks can send Dan Gadzuric and his non-guaranteed contract, along with Mike Bibby via a sign-and-trade and that would save Indiana almost $1.6 million."

Pacer fans, what are you thoughts? Would you be happy with this trade (if it happened)? I assume we would cut Gadzuric's non-guaranteed contract and keep Bibby. I'm on the fence, I like Bibby coming off the bench (if we traded away Collison). I think it's a push with both of them, Bibby distributes the ball more and has a better shot..but can't get to the rim like Collison. I like that it would save us some $, but I also see how this doesn't really make us much better. Thoughts? Keep Dahntay, make this trade, package him for another trade?
