Jeez, I enjoyed watching your game last night (i.e. watched the taped game at 8PM) against the Thunder. Your matchup with Reggie Jackson was fun to watch because he was a good test for you and you passed it with flying colors. Just keep playing hard and ignore ANY attempt to get you to retaliate for any reason. We’ve all seen dirty players and teams with a high sense of entitlement attempt to win by getting an opposing player they fear out of the game (i.e. as Detroit did to Jermaine O'Neal).
Lebron and the Heat may have dissed you in the playoffs (and you may have inspired King James and D-Wade to take their game to another level) but take it as another lesson that you've learned. Lance, you will gain their respect and the League's respect if you continue to play and execute the Pacer offense like you are now. Keep being a team leader and always stay positive. Players will always follow positive leadership so always try to see the good in any bad situation. Remember, Bird (and most of us Pacer fans) saw the incredible talent in you that just needed to be developed and focused. You will get your chance to impact the game and the Pacer organization this year.
I wish you the best!!!
