2012 NBA Draft Open Thread: Pacers Wait For Pick No. 26...For Now

Stay connected for news and updates

The Indiana Pacers have the 26th pick in the 2012 NBA Draft tonight and with so much smoke billowing out about favoring Michigan State's Draymond Green, it seems like a given that Green will not be with the blue and gold by the end of the night. At least that's how the draft process usually works out around Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

The minimum goal for the Pacers tonight is to at least add a rotation player that can fill a need. They aren't getting a game-changer at 26 but they have to grab a player that can help to keep moving things forward and set up the free agency period.

Will newly minted GM Kevin Pritchard make his first official deal for the Pacers? Will they deal up, down or out of the draft? Which player do you think will drop and might give the Pacers a good value pick, if they stick at 26?

Date/time: Thursday June 28, 7:00 p.m. ET (first pick around 7:30 p.m.).

Location: Prudential Center, Newark, N.J.

Television: ESPN

Streaming: ESPN3
