So ive been hearing a lot of serious talk that DC wont be a Pacer for too much longer. If he does leave, i think Chauncey Billups would be a perfect pickup for us. Clippers dont need him anymore, we are still a championship contender (somewhat), he could actually start here and Hill would move back to the bench. He would be another veteran leader and would also be so valuable in the playoffs. Hill, Stephenson, etc could learn from him. He would give us a solid scorer and most importantly a floor leader that we havent had since Tinsley. He could easily average double digit assists on this team. And also he wouldnt cost much. He got injured early last season and he is getting older, so im thinking a veteran contract would be reasonable. A cheap starter who seemingly cant hurt would be perfect. Thoughts? Also we all know the Brandon Roy situation and im on board for that, if we can get him for relatively cheap.
