As trade rumors spread and mock drafts come out, I get even more excited for Thursday night. I'm excited about trade possibilities, moving up in the draft, or just taking our pick at #26 to help strengthen our team! I love hearing all the rumors and who we will draft so I thought I would share Chad Ford's recent mock draft (9.0). In his latest draft, Chad has the Indiana Pacers, with the 26th pick, select Draymond Green - Michigan State University. Here is what he has to say about the pick/Green:

Analysis: The Pacers have a big workout scheduled for Tuesday with Green, Will Barton, Kim English and Jeff Taylor which could decide the No. 26 pick. I'm hearing increasingly that the Pacers are very high on Green. He's a smart, tough player who can come in and fill a need immediately for Indiana. Larry Bird has made similar picks in years past and done OK with them. I don't think Green slides past here. If he's off the board, Barton could be the guy.

I wanted to hear what other Cornrowers had to say about Green because to be honest, I'm torn between the pick. Even though I'm a Boilermaker fan and it pains me to say this, I really like Green. I think character wise he strengthens our team, comes from a winning program, hard worker, high basketball IQ, etc. To quote Dan Dakich, I like him just because he's a basketball player. Not super athletic but just a basketball player. Since I wasn't aware that Pacers camp was very high on Green, I thought I would share. What do you guys think about drafting Green? Does he fit a NEED for our roster?
