Former Indiana Pacers swingman Marquis Daniels turned back the clock on Friday night in Boston, delivering some valuable minutes and production off the bench for the Boston Celtics as they beat the Miami Heat in Game 3 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals.
Quisy gave the C's a boost with nine points and five rebounds in 17 minutes off the bench using that classic unorthodox game to in the lane for some buckets around the rim. Daniels has played minimal minutes so far in the playoffs but with Avery Bradley injured, Doc Rivers was looking for a spark off of the bench and Quisy delivered. Miami still leads the series 2-1 but now Game 4 in Boston on Sunday becomes huge.
Similar to the situation in Oklahoma City tonight when the Thunder try to back up their big Game 3 performance to even the series with the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4.
