We have now officially entered the Indiana Pacers draft marathon. The Pacers wrapped up their third workout today that included some great prospects. Indiana had Evan Fournier (France), John Jenkins (Vanderbilt), Josh Owens (Stanford), Travis Hyman (Bowie State), Ashton Gibbs (Pittsburgh), and Tony Wroten Jr. (Washington).
Once again the crew of Larry Bird, Kevin Pritchard, and Frank Vogel will be conducting another workout Monday. Check out after the jump who the Pacers will bring in to workout.
Indiana will have six prospects in again doing the usual 3-on-3 scrimmaging and individual testing. This time the Pacers will have Reggie Hamilton (Oakland University), Tu Holloway (Xavier), Julian Mavunga (Miami Ohio), Hollis Thompson (Georgetown), Ricardo Ratliffe (Missouri), and Alex Young (IUPUI).
Mavunga, Thompson, and Ratliffe are all forwards, Hamilton and Holloway are guards, and Young is a versatile swingman who could play guard and forward.
This crop of players brings us some second round to undrafted talent. Maybe this means that Indiana could trade into the second round for a player they like. Would you use the draft rights of Stanko Barac and some cash to trade into the second round? This workout surely makes me think they're pondering that.
Be sure to check out Pacers.com from all of the workouts they have conducted.
