Beat the Heat! Beat the Heat! Beat the Heat!

Bankers Life Fieldhouse was chanting for the Indiana Pacers to "Beat the Heat" in the final minute of the Pacers' Game 5 win over the Orlando Magic on Tuesday night. Well, now the BLF faithful will officially get what they wanted after the Miami Heat closed out the New York Knicks 4-1 on Wednesday night after securing a 106-94 win on their home court.

LeBron James led the Heat with 29 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists while Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh chipped in 19 points apiece. The Knicks could never get over the hump to challenge the Heat in the second half. Carmelo Anthony went down firing, scoring 35 points on 31 field goal attempts.

The series schedule remains to be set, although Sunday afternoon appears to be a likely time for Game 1 on South Beach. Here is a video clip of the closing seconds of the Pacers win on Tuesday with the crowd in a frenzy as the Pacers finished off the Magic.
