Miami Heat forward LeBron James accepted his third MVP award on Saturday afternoon but made it clear he's only thinking about a championship at this point.
The quest for LBJ's first championship continues today when the Miami heat host the Indiana Pacers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. While James ran away with the MVP vote and teammate Dwyane Wade garnered some fourth and fifth place votes, the Indiana Pacers, not surprisingly, had no players with even one 5th place vote.
The Pacers have been more valuable this year playing as a team, locked in together at both ends creating a positive sum greater than the individual parts. This afternoon we will start to find out just how valuable the Pacers can be a team unit.
