I almost don't want to curse the team with the suggestion, because we've tended to go through spurts of both multiple wins and multiple losses this season. However, our current 9-3 streak with victories over teams like the Thunder and the Heat has got me thinking-- with the exception of tonight's game against Boston, the rest of our games are against very beatable teams. If we don't let up (and that's a big IF, as we saw against New Jersey last week), is there a realistic chance the Pacers could grab the 2 seed? All the discussion around here has been focused on the Pacers theoretically losing ground to the Hawks, Celtics, and Magic. Is it safe to start considering the possibility of moving up further? Miami still has two games against both Boston and Chicago, and they have a tendency to lose games against lesser opponents here and there.
For the hell of it, here's a poll.
