The Indiana Pacers take on the best team in the NBA's Western Conference on Friday night when the Oklahoma City Thunder make their only appearance at Bankers Life Fieldhouse (well, unless OKC makes the Finals ;).

I'm already winded just thinking about this game and the potential pace these two teams could throw at each other. The thought is a bit frightening as well with the mongo scorers the Thunder can throw at the Pacers. Plus, the Thunder lead the league in pace which has worked pretty well.

If forced to slow it down, the Pacers will need a monster effort from Roy Hibbert in particular as well as David West and Tyler Hansbrough against the formidable post defense Oklahoma City employs starting with Kendrick Perkins and shot-blocker Serge Ibaka. So you can see why the Thunder have a such a good record and why the Pacers will have to execute quite well at both ends of the floor to earn a win tonight.
